Notes
a. Note:   She was tiny it looks, and pretty. Dark hair. She had a big family also. Her children's names were from some of her siblings. Only sister Almira went to Canada, some to Michigan and the rest in New York According to some family notes, Silas and Phoebe were married in Erie. Her line was helped alot from Wilfred Vasile "MOLLY BANFIELD" then copied all of my files to hers without saying she got them from me, I did ask her to put my name in and she didn't. So by doing this now, she has many errors, which I am correcting, hers will remain in her file as from her..LOL Karma Dear Ancester: Your tombstone stands among the rest Neglected and alone The name and date have both worn off The weathered marble stone It reaches out to all who care Its now too late to mourn You did not know that I'd exist You died....and I was born Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone Our hearts contract and beat and pulse Entirely not our own Dear ancester, the place, you filled Some hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so I wonder how you lived and loved I wonder if you knew We had an origonal photo of them on cards, and now David Knight knows where they are and who has them. Wonderful knews!!! Here is is note::: I originally saw the two pictures of Silas Sr. and Phoebe when my dad and I went through a trunk that his mother and father had used and gave to him. The trunk had maybe 50-100 tintypes as well as these two big pictures. I think Bessie gave him the trunk when she began to decline and maybe went to a home. My dad knew that the pictures were of Silas Sr. and Phoebe. Later he gave the pictures to my brother. My brother later explained to me that the pictures were of Silas Bayard and his wife. When I explained that the pictures were of Silas Sr. my brother dismissed it as wrong and taped them to a spare bedroom wall. So when my brother died I have no idea where the pictures went but hopefully Paul will be able to find them. Fortunately we have pretty good photos of the originals but it is unfortunate if the originals were lost. Thanks David
