a. Note:   Now Esther wasn't real big, but kind of. She had the Knight eyes. She seemed like a quiet woman. She lived and died in Canoe twp, and buried in Burr Oak. She was an earnest Christian and a great worker at the Sabbath School. She is buried with Lewis. Her funeral services were held at the M.E. Church and the Rev. Densmore spoke: Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Esther wrote poems, here is one: Change not the old friend, for the new sounds very well I know But if you like the new friend best then let the old friend go!! A big thank you too Ardis McCallion for helping with Esther's line, and photo's etc...Whom also has many errors in her file that say I said; ...which are not true..I have the origonall papers that I typed to show I didn't say (what was in the notes she has in her file.)
