a. Note:   .Ann's Parish, at district No.2 of Queen's County, Section D of Lot 22. The land was purchased from Lawrence and Charlotte Sullivan. On average, each family farmed 25 acres of arable land.
 !In 1861, Michael farmed 40 bushels of wheat, 200 bushels of oats, 100 bushels of potatoes and 2 tons of hay. He had a sizable farm with enough land worked over to feed his family and his animals. According to the census, he owned two horses, three meat cattle and five hogs.
