Note: Nicknamed "Buddy" Louis Taylor and his twin sister were born in Stratford, TX on April 4, 1925. This was the fourth day, of the fourth month, one-fourth of a century. Son of the late Walter and Mettie Taylor James, he was born in 1925 at Stratford. He attended schools in Kerrick and Stratford. In 1949 he married Alice Dodson of Boise City. They moved to Colorado in 1952. Preceding him in death was a sister, Fannie Sue Jordan, and four brothers, W.P. Jr. (Peachie), Tom, Joe Bob and Newt.
