Note: At the time of marriage application Robert Sullivan was living at 1203 Ridge Row, Scranton, PA; parents were Andrew Sullivan born in Taylor and Agnes Gerrity born in Scranton My father was baptized Robert Jerome Sullivan. He used Robert Walton and Robert Andrew throughout the years, for reasons known only to my father. He worked on the DL&W Railroad in Scranton, PA. moved to NJ where he worked with a number of trucking companies as a billing Clerk was actually baptized Robert Jerome Sullivan but preferred to change his middle name at his whim. Originally buried in New Jersey. Born in Scranton, PA. Mr SULLIVAN lived most of his life in Union City. He was a retired dispatcher for the Eazor Trucking Co in North Bergen. He belonged to the Carroll Council of the Knights of Columbus, the Weehawken Elks and the Bella Vista Senior Citizens. For the past few years he was a volunteer escort in St. Mary Hospital. He is survived by his wife Vivian (nee COLEMAN); three sons, Walton J. of Annapolis, MD; Robert of Clifton, NJ; and Gerard of New Hyde Park, NY; a daughter Sharon KUHFELDT of Hoffman Estates,Illinois; a sister Hannah (SULLIVAN) SULLIVAN of Ohio and grandchildren.
