Note:   Jerry died April 4th-1976 at U of A Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta, Can., after a very valiant survival effort, from burns suffered to 75% of his body, & complications from these injuries suffered in an oil spill fire, on March 11, 1976 at one of the crude oil wells in Alberta. At the time he was working for IPL [Interprovincial pipe line].The accident happened between Strome & Killam, AB. on March 11th-1976, about 2:30 PM. Jerry & Vera were married in Kerrobert, SK. April 16-1966. Jerry first worked for Tiger Petroleum in Coleville, SK., and then for IPL., until the time of his death. Jerry loved sports, and played hockey with the Kerrobert Tigers in the winter. He loved to ski also. He enjoyed boating & water skiing with his family at Cochin, SK. He was a good ball player too. Jerry loved to hunt in the fall. He loved goose hunting, and deer hunting as well. Jerry was born, baptized, married and buried through the Lady Of Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Kerrobert, SK.
