Note:   Obituary of Edward J. Wambold Edward J. Wambold, 78, 113 Charles St., Schofield, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1992, at the Wausau Hospital Hospice Unit. He was born, Nov. 3, 1913, in Oshkosh, to the late George and Margaret (Nichol) Wambold. He married Cornelia Lloyd on Dec. 17, 1934, in Waukegan, Ill. She survives. He worked in the construction industry and also was a resident inspector for Becher and Hoppe, Wausau. He retired in 1978. He was a charter member of the Indianhead Golf Course, Mosinee. Survivors besides his wife Cornelia include, one son, Edward (Carol) Wambold, Rhinelander; one daughter, Charlotte (Dr. Donald) Nowinski, Schofield, and Naples, Fla., five grandsons, Tom and Dr. Don Nowinski Jr., and Allan, Wayne and John Wambold; one sister, Esther Toll, Neenah. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1992, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Dale Kleimola will officiate. Burial will be in the Mosinee Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wausau Hospice or the charity of your choice.

Note:   Edward and Cornelia were married by Henry J. Altenwere, Justice of the Peace, the witness was Frank A. Allen. At the time of the marriage Edward and Cornelia were residents of Omro, he was employed as a farmer, she was employed doing housework.
