Per LDS, John Henry Borden was the s/o David Borden, and David Borden was the s/o Christopher Borden (b. 1760-1770 in TN). One source shows David was b. ca. 1800 in Borden Creek, Lawrence Co., AL/d. aft. 1860 in Borden Creek, Lawrence Co., AL/bd. in Borden Creek Bankhead Forest, Lawrence Co., AL. He was a minister and a farmer. The 1830 census shows David Borden in Lawrence Co., AL with 2 Males Under age 5 (b. 1825-1830 (John Henry & Phillip); 1 Male Born (age 5-10 - b. 1820-1825 (Christopher); 2 Females (age 5-10 - b. 1820-1825 (Nancy & Mary); 1 Female (age 20-30 - b. 1825-1830 (Martha); 1 Male (age 30-40 - b. 1790-1810 (Rev. David); and 1 Female (age 40-50 - b. 1800-1810 ( Sarah Polly).
