Note: ROBERT T NORMENT 19 May 1924 25 May 1996 21030 (Cockeysville, Baltimore, MD) (none specified) 216-12-5664 Maryland His obit mentions both his wife and his long-time female companion. (I still don't have copy) He was gruff and working-class in his manner but a good provider. His wife Hazel (the 2nd Hazel) was a workaholic who also provided well for the children. He had none of the Norment genius or ambition. As of 2008 all his sons are estranged from each other He inherited half of the 12-setting sterling silver from his mother, and Martha the other half. He is believed to have pawned his half immediately, since he cared nothing for heirlooms when money was involved. Steven Fick as of 2008 still has the other half. He dropped out of school as soon as he reached the legal age of 16, thus the reason his wwii card says "grammar school education" US WWII Army Enlistment Records (Ancestry.com) Name: Robert T Norment Birth Year: 1924 Race: White, citizen Nativity State or Country: Maryland State: Maryland County or City: Baltimore City Enlistment Date: 6 Mar 1943 Enlistment State: Maryland Enlistment City: Baltimore Branch: No branch assignment Branch Code: No branch assignment Grade: Private Grade Code: Private Term of Enlistment: Enlistment for the duration of the War or other emergency, plus six months, subject to the discretion of the President or otherwise according to law Component: Selectees (Enlisted Men) Source: Civil Life Education: Grammar school Civil Occupation: Tracktor Driver* or Truck Driver, Heavy or Chauffeur or Truck Driver, Light Marital Status: single, without dependents Height: 89 Weight: 070 littlehazel@@yahoo.com Penny Fine (his stepdau) No one has any pics of Bob, not even her or Hazel.
