Note: before the family left Marlow for Australia. He went to the Northcott School for Crippled Children in Parramatta, and later became president of Artreach, a foundation helping artistic ability among the disabled. He wrote poetry and a play "Let Your Indulgence Set Me Free", which was directed by Annette Innes and performed in Sydney.
