Ware, formerly of this city and for the past year or two manager of the Texas Power & Light company's business at Comanche has been promoted to the position of assistant manager of the Cleburne district of the same company. The promotion was in recognition of the very satisfactory services of Mr. Ware in Brownwood and Comanche, where he has been in theemploy of the Texas Power & Light Comapny ever since that concern became interested in the electric business in this territory. Brownwood Bulletin, June 10, 1919. pge 8 ----------------- Ware Is Promoted to Manager at Palestine for Electrict Utility Veteran Employe In Brownwood District to Take Charge of New Work H. S. Ware, for some time superintendent of distribution for the Brownwood district of the Texas Power & Light Company, has been promoted to the position of manager for his company in the Palestine district, and will leave Wednesday to begin the duties of his new post, it was announced today by W. P. Murphey, manager of the Brownwooed district. Mr. Ware is one of the veterans of the electric utility service here, having begun his service in 1906 with the Brownwood Gas & Electric Company, which was purchased by the Texas Power & LIght Company in 1912, and in 1916 was made superintendet at Comanche which position he filled until the year 1921, when he was transferred back to Brownwood, at which time he was made superintendent of distribution having charge of distribution systems in Brownwood, Blanket, Comanche, Dublin and Stephenville. During Mr. Ware's nineteen years experience he has been a very efficient employe for the compnay in the operation of the poer plant, transmission system and sales department, meeting with success wherever he was called on for personal service. Mr. Ware is one of Brownwoood's leading citizens, having been active in all community projects and the church work, and being a deacon in the First Baptist Church. "The employes of the Brownwood district regret to have Mr. Ware leave, but in consideration of his very much deserved promotion they are elated to see him advance to the important position as manager of the Palestine district," Manager Murphey declared this morning. Mr. Ware is to be succeeded here as superintendent of distribution by Mr. Black, who has been stationed at Eagle Pass in similar work for some time.
