This record shows his name as John Bittner but I have found that these birth records were usually filled out by the midwives and many times not filed for several months and are full of errors, christening record, family bible, and all other records show name as Frederick Joseph Bittner. CHRISTENING: Trinity Episcopal Parish Records Vol. IV Page 169 kept at Trinity Parish Archives, 74 Trinity Place 4th Floor, New York City. Sponsor is his Grandfather Frederick Bahre. MARRIAGE: New Jersey 1919 marriage records, certificate 519. St John's Episcopal Church, Diocese of Newark, West Hoboken, New Jersey DEATH: New Jersey 1948 death cert #1960 issued 1 Sep 1948.
