  OBITUARY: BRIGHTON TOWNSHIP - Dale W. Guthrie Sr., 87, of Brighton Township, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, in Friendship Ridge.
 Born March 26, 1916, in Cowensville, Pa., a son of the late Daniel and Harriett Blind Guthrie, he was a retired employee of the Beaver Valley Motor Coach and the former Rochester Transit Company.
  He was preceded in death by his second wife, Shirley Hillberry Minteer Guthrie, on March 25, 2003.
  Surviving are his first wife, Lucy Cistolo Guthrie McClurg, Patterson Township; five sons and three daughters-in-law, Dale Gutherie, Beaver Falls; Wayne and Darlene Guthrie, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas; Phillip and Nancy Guthrie, Beaver Falls; Albert Guthrie, Lorton, Va., and Jeffrey and Sue Guthrie, Rochester; two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Olson Glover II, Patterson Township, and Diane and John Warren, Manchester, N.H., 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
  There was no public visitation.
  Arrangements were handled by the HUNTSMAN ROCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, 502 Adams St.
  BIOGRAPHY: Dale was a life long member of the Eastvale Volunteer Fire Dept, where he enjoyed participating in various card games.
