a. Note:   t is believed this sister may have been this Frances Brooks. She would have been named after her mother. Frances Brooks Pettypool wrote her will in April 1811, Newberry County, South Carolina (Newberry County, South Carolina Probate Estate Box 16, package 14, In: Bundrick GW (1989) Newberry County South Carolina Probate Estate Abstracts, Vol 2, Probate Estate Boxes 11-25, Newberry SC, p. 504 ), naming her children: William. P. Pool, Richard P. Pool, Frances Mosley, Susannah Satterwhite, and heirs of my daughter Nancy Satterwhite, deceased; son Laban P. Pool. Executors: William P. Pool, Bartlette Satterwhite. Importantly, Edward, Patsy Ragsdale Pettypool, and Polly were not mentioned in her will which probably meant that they were not her children, but William's, through his first marriage to a Ragsdale.
Note:   According to Elisha Brooks' obituary, he had a sister who survived him. I is NOT responsible for the content of the GEDCOMs uploaded through the WorldConnect Program. The creator of each GEDCOM is solely responsible for its content.
