a. Note:   Ruth Hall Cooley RUTH HALL COOLEY, born May 9, 1914, departed this world on August 25, 2003 at the Conroe Regional Medical Center after suffering a stroke on August 13th. A 10 year resident of Bentwater, Mrs. Cooley came to Texas, from Pittsburgh, PA, in 1943 and settled in Galena Park, where she was a founding member of the Galena Park Presbyterian Church, and later, was a member of the local Methodist Church. Mrs. Cooley received her teaching degree from the University of Houston and worked as a substitute teacher in the Galena Park ISD. Mrs. Cooley is survived by Elmer Cooley, her husband of 65 years, her daughter Geralyn Reitmeyer and son-in-law James, her son Thomas Cooley and daughter-in-law Carolyn, her daughter Peggy King and son-in-law Charles, her son Bob Cooley, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends. Viewing will be held at Klein Funeral Home-Champion Forest from 6-8pm on Wednesday and services will be held at the same location at 2pm on Thursday. Entombment will be at the Klein Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum.
