a. Note:   Wilbur Harry Cooley Connellsville Daily Courier - (Apr/29/2006) Wilbur Harry Cooley, 95, formerly of Clairton, Pa., passed away on April 28, 2006. He was born January 21, 1911, in Fairchance, Pa., son of the late Elmer E. and Ethel Walters Cooley. The beloved husband for 65 years of the late Marguerite Backstrom Cooley. Loving father of Duane W. (and Lois) and Richard A. (and Rita) Cooley. Devoted grandfather of Eric (and Sandy), Lisa, Keith, Randy (and Sheila) and Donald (and Linda). Great Pop of Connor, Linneya, Nicholas, and Yeshe; brother of Elmer E. Cooley Jr., Dorothy Lancaster, Mary Alice Lindstrom, Warren E. Cooley, Kathryn Miller, John O. Cooley and the late Gertrude Cole and Annetta VanSickle and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He retired as Superintendent of the By-Products Department at United States Steel Corporation's Clairton Plant, Clairton, Pa. He was a PM of the Masonic Lodge 714 and was also a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon and the Syria Shriners. Friends will be received in the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 CURRY HOLLOW ROAD, PLEASANT HILLS, Pa. (412-655-4501) on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.
