Note: Mary Alice Cooley Lynch Lindstrom 10/17/2006 Mary Alice Cooley Lynch Lindstrom, 82, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away October 13 2006. She was born March 13, 1924, the daughter of the late Elmer Cooley and Ethel Walters Cooley of Fairchance, Pa. She was a graduate of George Township High School Class of 1941, York Run, Pa. She was predeceased by her parents, first husband William Lynch, second husband Arthur Lindstrom, son, William Lynch, also a brother, Wilbur Cooley in April 2006, sisters, Gertrude Cole in 1989 and Annetta VanSickle in 1974. She is survived by her children Kathy Lynch Pascale of Highland Mills, New York, Patricia Lynch Nash of Chandler, Arizona, Frances Lynch Oberholtzer and husband David of Tempe, Arizona; seven grandchildren, Amy and Joe Pascale, Rebekah and Tristan Nash, David, Drew and Ingrid Oberholtzer; two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Devin Oberholtzer; brothers, Elmer Cooley of Texas, Warren Cooley of Pleasant Hills, Pa., and John Cooley of Dayton, Ohio; sisters, Dorothy Lancaster of Clairton, Pa. and Kathryn Miller of Haydentown, Pa. Mary Alice Lindstrom Mary Alice Lindstrom, 82, of Mesa, AZ passed away on October 13, 2006 in Chandler, AZ. She was born on March 13, 1924 in Fairchance, Pennsylvania to Elmer Elard and Ethel Birdie Walters Cooley. Prior to her retirement to Arizona, Mary Alice worked for Merrill Lynch in New York City. She was a current member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and belonged to the Trinity Prayer Group for over 30 years. Mary Alice's greatest joy in life was being a loving wife, mother, and a grandmother. She is preceded in death by both husbands: William E. Lynch and Arthur W. Lindstrom; and son, William E. Lynch. Mary Alice is survived by her children: Kathleen Pascale, Patricia Nash, and Frances Oberholtzer; siblings: Elmer Cooley, John Cooley, Kathryn Miller, Warren Cooley, and Dorothy Lancaster; eight grandchildren: Amy and Joseph Pascale, Ingrid Danelle, David and Drew Oberholtzer, and Rebekah, Tristan, and Tammy Nash; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly. Services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 6:00 PM with a visitation from 5-6:00 PM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3450 W. Ray Rd, in Chandler.
