Notes
a. Note:   BEEMAN, Jacob The Evening Times, Cumberland, MD, March 25, 1910 Jacob Beeman, of near Avilton, Garrett county, departed this world very suddenly and quietly at noon on Monday. Mr. Beeman was 84 years old and had never been seriously ill. About 11 a.m. Monday, he came in from the barn, and slipping off his shoes, went upstairs to have a smoke before dinner. When one of his daughters went upstairs an hour later to call her father to dinner, she found him dead in his chair. Mr. Beeman died in the house in which he was born and in which he had lived all his life. His wife has been dead several years. He leaves four sons: George, Andrew, Jacob, and James, and four daughters, Mesdames William J. Green, Ulysses Jackson, Cambridge Crowe, and Robert Beeman. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon, Rev. John Green officiating. Interment was made in Robinson's cemetery.
