Note: From the Tulare Advance-Register Newspaper of Wed. April 9, 1980: " Graveside services will be held Friday at 11am, in the Tulare Cemetery for William Jasper Chedester, 77, 498 So. Blackstone St. He died tuesday in a Tulare Convelescent Hospital. Chedester was born in Tipton, attended schools there and in Tulare. He farmed for a nember of years on the Tule River between Tulare and Tipton. For the past 27 years, Chedester had been a minister for the Foursquare Gospel Church. He pastorted churches in Oregon and in Idaho, the last being in Boise, Idaho. He returned to Tulare five years ago. Chedester was a member of the Tulare Foursquare Gospel Church and, help to build the church building in the late 1940's when he was attending Bible College. He is survived by one daughter, Claudine Anderson, Tulare; four stepsons, kenneth Dooley, Vancouver, Wash., Bob Dooley, Oregon; Larry Chedester, Salem Ore.,and Ray Chedester, Oakley Ca.,Three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Delmer Chedester, Visalia and Orville Chedester, Tulare...."
