a. Note:   Judith Ja�n Wolff came to the United States in 1945 via airplane to Des Moines, Iowa to attend Drake University. After one year, she transferred to the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She taught 3 classes per week of Spanish at the University of Iowa for $80.00 a month and free tuition. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 1948. She went back to Panama for a year and then returned to the University of Iowa in 1949 to attend summer school. She borrowed $1000.00 from t�o Juan Bernal to come to the United States. In order to repay him, she sold her cattle that her grandfather Papa Juan Bernal gave her. Naturalization: August 24, 1954
