Note: TIMES UNION Date - Monday, September 24, 2001 Section heading CAPITAL REGION Page number B7 ALBANY -- Josephine Schiavone Lanese died Sunday, September 23, 2001 at Mercy Hospital in Scranton, PA, after a brief illness. Mrs. Lanese was born and educated in Albany, the daughter of the late Michael and Theresa D'Amico Schiavone. She was a homemaker, a communicant and member of the Rosary Society of St. James Church. Wife of the late Lucci (Louis) Lanese; mother of Paulette L. Bugno of Clarks Summit, PA; sister of the late George, Dominic and Marie Schiavone, Lucy Amatulli, Mildred Casabella and Louis Schiavone; grandmother of Jeffrey, Michael and Stephen Bugno; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:45 a.m. from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, thence to St. James Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
