Born in Albany, she was a life-long resident. A homemaker, she was a communicant of the Church of St. Teresa of Avila. She was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Carmella Romano. Wife of the late John J. Lanese. Mother of Rev. John R. Lanese, Associate Pastor of the Church of St. Edward the Confessor, Clifton Park, NY; sister of Salvatore Romano of Poughkeepsie, NY, Eugene Romano of Albany, and the late Joseph Romano; sister-in-law of Jennie and Marian Romano, Josephine Lanese, Jesse Mastriano and Matilda Filardi; cousin of Jean Gallucci and Carmella Schepisi; aunt of Paulette Bugno and Pat Mastriano. Funeral services will be held in the Church of St. Teresa of Avila, 435 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, Monday evening at 7 o'clock where the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be Con-celebrated. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may call at the church after 6 p.m. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, at the convenience of the family.
