Note: d formerly of Highspire, Pa., died on Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at the home. She was a member of Seven Sorrows Catholic Church, Middletown. She was the widow of Lawrence A. McDonald Sr. Surviving are her sons, James L. of Palm Harbor, Fla., John P. of Mechanicsburg and Lawrence A. Jr. of Middletown; her daughter, Anne Rita Hughes of Mechanicsburg; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be private. Burial will be in the Bradford County Memorial Park. The K.M. Knight funeral home, Highspire, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brian McDonald Scholarship Fund, in care of Mechanicsburg School District, 500 Broad St., Mechanicsburg, Pa. 17055.
