Note: "James M. Harris of Shelby Springs, Ala. was alive in 1916"~Anne Mason Stapleton began searching for a James M. Harris in Shelby Co., Alabama, found a James M age 12 in 1860 census age 12 (his sister Mary Ann was 29 that year) and the father James G. Harris. thought could be right family, especially if a much younger brother were to be alive still when she died in 1916. looked at James G. Harris family for 1850 census and discoered the other two brothers David C. and Joseph J. (not a Junior, but then a J middle initial could have been misinterpreted by later generations as a Jr) therefore, I am attributing this family to Mary~Sabrina Hand 1830 census McMinn Co., Tn James G.
