Note: according to 1880 census Mill Man = occupation. Gives sons A. P. Walter P. 1900 census living in Bay Minette, Baldwin Co. alabama. I may have gotten some of the month of birth wrong on his children, as the census page was a very poor photocopy. Also a note: it took me forever to find him, because I was under the mistaken impression that A. they were ranchers in Texas while A.S.H. was growing up, and B. that A.S.H. had run away from home before are 19. However, here he is, age 25 at home. J. M. Hand July 1850 age 49 married 29 years bp alabama, dad bp georgia, mom bp georgia F. A. May 1852 age 48 married 25 8 of 9 children bp alabama, dad bp tennessee, m bp alabama Sidney (ancestry.com reads it as Sielney) aug 1874 age 25 bp Alabama W. P. may 77 23 Lila (Leila?) may 78 age 22 Lillie april 1880 age 20 Willie H. march 1884 age 16 J.C. b. 1889 age 11 David b. may 1892 age 8 Harry b. dec 1895 age 4 Bay Minette is where the Hand steeet is (used to go all the way around the court house, now called court house street. Hand Avenue still goes up to it though) 1900 census lists them as married 25 years 1910 census (4-15-1910) lists them married 35 years. 1910 census has all 6 of his sons living at home. age range 35-13 all single, except albert listed as widowed (minor mystery in itself).
