Notes
a. Note:   some sources list his wife as Jane Hole English? (widow?) my source has her last name as Williams (Her father a Williams, was born in Scottland) Elizabeth Peeler's step mother was Mary Williams and then there is this census: 1870 census for Dallas County Texas R. F. Taylor age 47 bp Georgia Cornelia J. age 44 bp LA? Elizabeth age 23 bp Georgia Thomas age 21 bp Alabama James age 19 bp Texas Susan age 4 bp Texas Stephen age 49 bp Georgia Sabrina's interpretation: her first name was Cornelia, her middle name Jane. Her last name ? euladell thinks maybe her parents were scandanavian not scottish (makes more sence since her parents were suppossed to have not been able to speak English) R F lived/preached in Slapfoot, Dallas Co winter 1865- winter of 1871. 1870 census has them in Dallas Co (he and wife) so this falls in line winter 1871-winter 1874 Tarrant Co. Does "to many ills" mean his wife died here? ----- a while Moseley Valley. til May 1875 Spring Creek, San Salba Co. ( P. O. Mills Valley) May 1875 to 1880 1880 census he is still here in San Saba, with new wife, so this falls in line as well And yet according to Mae's record, Robert Flennoy Taylor's wife was taken by the civil war... and yet Cornelia J is in the 1870 census 5 years after the civil war. And since we already know Mae's record is mostly fabricated, would tend to discount this.
