Can read write and speak english. what to do about census discrepency in age (by about 10 years) from the 1900 census? ok, i now think i'm barking up the wrong tree: the cadwells are not in oneida, don't know what i was thinking, so i'll try again: looked in 1850 census for George families born in Wales (first census to list bp) none in Orange Co. 12 in total, 1 in new york, 1 in albany, and 10 in Oneida Co. of those 10, 4 are in township Utica in 1830 the Cadwells not in Orange County New York, but Oneida Co. (Utica) Alfred married and moved west w/in 10 years, so very probably that he met Mary George in Utica Oneida.
