BESSAC, a native of California, aged 24 years, 4 mos., 24 days. [Anah Orielle BESSAC was born in Minneapolis, Kansas, April 3, 1881, and died in Hollister, Cal., Aug. 27, 1905...Miss BESSAC was a young lady of rare qualities…She was kind, thoughtful and sweet-spirited, and the gentle influence of her life will long be felt…Miss BESSAC prepared herself for a public school teacher and was teaching her 3rd term when compelled to forsake her chosen work by ill health. For 2 years she suffered greatly although not always confined to the house. During her last illness, she suffered extreme pain which she bore with rare patience, and she was happy and resigned…The funeral services were held at the residence of her parents, Rev. Hugh COPELAND officiating…Those left to mourn her death are her parents, Mr.&Mrs. H.W. BESSAC; her grandmother, Mrs. Grace BAGNALL; her sisters, Mrs. Virginia JOHNSON of San Francisco, and Miss Grace BESSAC; her brothers, H.W. BESSAC, Jr., of Stockton, H.B. BESSAC of Tesla, Richard, Charley and Genie BESSACE, of Hollister, and her affianced, F.E. BAGNALL, of Oxnard.] from the Henry William Bessac Family Bible in posession of Josephine Bessac Landon November 2008 born 1:30 AM
