Notes
a. Note:   , foreman union, aproximate dates) census finding: 1900 Census Between ranges 10 and 11, Pinal Co., Arizona Territory Charels W. Lemon age 44 (b. abt 1856) in California, parents both born indiana occupation Civil Engineer Alice F. Lemon age 41 married for 22 years had 8 kids, 6 surviving, parents born in Penn, Ohio May W. Lemon age 5 b. in California (female) also note, that for some reason Alice A. is listed on a different page, and it appears as though her name, etc., has been crossed out. She is on Year: 1900; Census Place: Between ranges 10 and 11, Pinal, Arizona Territory; Roll: T623 47; Page: 3B; Enumeration District: 56.All other family listed on page 3A For the eldest daughter, also note, that although the searchable name in Ancestry.com for this census lists Mary, I have viewed the actual census, and it is quite clearly May. please note that some of the month's and years of birth for charles, alice and their children, have been guessed at, as the census image was difficult to read wondering why they were in Arizona? According to Richard Denny Landon: TB. Everybody had it back then, and they went to Arizona for the dry air. Huge outbreaks between 1890-1910, until the onnoculations about 1910. HOWEVER judging from the dates of his birth, and (although this is less consequential because these can often be wrong) that his parents were said to have been both born in Indiana, it is my guess that he is not the brother of james M. Lemon, but the son of one of Jame's brothers upon further consideration, and the discovery that (from 1860 census records) I had placed a Charles W. Lemon b. abt 1855 as the first son of James M Lemon, I am forced to conclude that he is in fact his son, not his nephew, as previously thought,
Note:   May have been named Charles, and his wife Alice L. Foreman. (genforum posting about a lemon
