a. Note:   First sent to Hudson Then sent to Louisanna a Bessac in New orleans, Benjamin Bessac attorney. She was treated like a servant. In her eagerness to get away from it all she made an extreamly poor marriage. Her son Frank later told Jody's family that he had not treated her well. HOWEVER not so sure about the whole Louisanna bit, since in 1870 census just a few months before she married she is working as a domestic servant in Randolph Center WI (where the rest of the family lived). Incidently, the farm hand at the farm she was working at was her future husband.
