Musselman is mentioned in a 1912 newspaper story in the Zanesville, Ohio paper regarding his memories at age 87 of the dedication of the St. Thomas Catholic Church. He attended the dedication in 1851, on December 21. Mr. Musselman was living with his sons Lewis and Camillus of Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Lewis lived on 7th street. The church had just been destroued by a hurricane in June 1912.Obituary in Zanesville, Ohio paper, 5 FEB 1917HENRY MUSSELMAN CALLED BY DEATH SATURDAY NIGHTA four weeks illness from infirmities caused the death of Henry Thomas Musselman, age 92, the eldest member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church and the last member of the congregation who was present when the church was dedicated, at the home of his son, C. B. Musselman, sexton of Mr. Calvary Cemetery, at 12:30 o'clock, Sunday morning. Mr. Musselman was a native of this city and was baptized in the old St. John's Church, a brick structure on the present site of the St. Thomas Church. He was a member of the choir and sang at the dedication of the church in 1851. He also witnessed the laying of the cornerstone in 1842. He was a carriage maker by trade and also engaged in truch farming in Falls Township. Mr. Musselman was a prominent member of the St. Thomas Church and since the death of his wife nine years ago had been making his home with his son. Surviving are 8 children: Mrs. Jennie Dilley of Glenwood, Iowa; Mrs. M. J. Sutton of Carpo, Iowa; Mrs. Willard Jones of Phoenix, Arizona; Thomas and James of the west; Joseph, C.B. and Lewis Musselman of this city; and also by 31 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and by one brother and one sister, David Musselman of Falls Township, and Mrs. Connie Hollingsworth of this city. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
