Notes
a. Note:   Information provided by Larry Randall via Earline Killian. Information provided by Larry Randall from another source: Isaac bought and donated land in Johnsonburg for the cemetery and is buried there. Wyoming or Genesee County. Another location is Orangeville, south of Batavia in Genesee County, NY which is where the map software located it. Information from Larry via Teddie and Scott Stueber: Martha and Isaac moved west to Wyoming County, (then part of Genesee County) in Sheldon, NY. They settled near Orangeville in the small village of Johnsonburg, part of Orangeville. Isaac purchased land there in 1810, as the Genesee County land deed records show. The village was named after George Johnson, who started the first post office. Isaac built the first frame house in Johnsonburg. At the time there were only five log houses and a shanty. Martha died 16 October 1828 and was buried on the family farm. Isaac opened up a half acre to the public for burials. Later that year, most of the bodies in the old Orangeville graveyard were transferred to this new burial ground, named Johnsonburg Cemetery.
