a. Note:   . It was a two-story brick house. From the house,the original Andrew Lamb homestead was east, down to the lake. I heard from Uncle Larry that Wilkes was a blacksmith and had a shop inSpringport. He is buried in Hunt (North Clarence) cemetery, Clarencetownship, Calhoun county, Michigan.
Note:   He lived on the hill on 26 mile road. His house was south of S Drive onthe east side of road
