Note: OBITUARY EMMA V. MILLER Emma Viola Woodcox was born in Paulding County, Ohio, August 30, 1868, and departed from this life at her home near Antwerp, Ohio, March 5, 1956, aged 77 years, 7 months and 5 days. She was a lifelong resident of this vicinity, with the exceptions of a few years spent in Allen County, Indiana. She was married to William Henry Miller on July 25, 1884 (note by Christie - this disagrees with her husband's obituary!), who passed on July 2, 1942. Their Golden Wedding anniversary was observed at their home August 30, 1934. There remain to mour her departure, three children, Henry E. Miller, at home, Leona Foote of Allen County, Ind., and Doris Ayer of Susanville, California. Besides these is one siter, Mrs. Agnes Meadows of Hicksville, Ohio, five grandchildren nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Miller was a pioneer resident of this region, having had a part in making this Country from and undeveloped wilderness to its present state of progress.
