Note: Baptized by Rev. G. R. Brachett, D.D., of the 2nd Presbyterian Church, Charlest on, S.C. He went by "Forsythe". He was the
Financial Advisor to the Chinese Government. At some point he
moved to Neice France where he lived out his days. His home was
in Cape Ferret France. The home was called "Villa Bontoc".
He had no children. He left the largest portion of his estate
to his " manservant" Joseph.
