Note:   [Arnold.FTW] Jeremiah Arnold built and ran a mill making forged bolts, nuts, and other iron parts needed in the construction and operation of the textile mills which flourished in the area. Trouble with the British left the colonists having to produce more and more of the goods which they needed in their homes and businesses which were previously imported from England. He also appears to have been the son who lived in Eleazer's "Mansion House" after his father's death. His iron mill was located in what is now referred to as "Arnold Mills", Rhode Island, northeast of Lincoln. It burned in the Winter of 1988 and only the foundations and rusty mill gears remained. It had been a carriage shop, a blacksmith shop and a glass window repair works.
