Note: Neel Milligan served in the US Navy during WWII. After the war he worked at various jobs until about 1976 when he was shot during a hold-up attempt while driving a taxi in Albuquerque. He was left paralyzed. He spent the last 16 years of his life as a quadra-plegic in the US veterans Hospital in Albuquerque.
