a. Note:   Adalaid McMahon. He was a member of the American Legion , marched inthe Drum and Bugle Corps, playing Snare Drums. None of this has beenverified as of yet (Dolores has a picture of her father in his banduniform).
  Per conversation w/Dolores, Frank was a Barker, Dancer, and Musician(played the drums and mylaphone (similar to a xylophones) with atraveling carnival. The carneval came thru Spokane and Ferry Co. Itis assumed he joined after divorce from first wife. Franklin and his2nd wife, Doris Machamer, traveled together with the carneval beforethey were married.
  At the time of their divorce, Frank and Doris owned or managed an IceCream shop in Spokane where they were living at the time. Dolores wasabout 7 years old, that would have been about 1935. The followinginformation was found in the Spokane city directories;
  1921 living w/Nona @ W 2625 Broadway, listed as clr @Greenboughs
 1934 living w/Doris @ E46 Rich Ave.
 1935 w/Doris @ 817 Adams listed as mgr of Benewah Creamery (Doloresremembers they were working/owned an Ice Cream shop when they gottheir divorce. Douglas also remembers Franklin visiting after thedivorce and creating some damage - he later apologized and paid forthe damage.
  Franklin's grandchildren by Dolores remember his visits to Seattlefondly and that he always game them "big nickles" - silver dollars.

Note:   Franklin was listed as a soldier when he married his first wife, Nona

c. Note:   Death certificate indicates the following: Franklin Amos Cox died 26 Mar 1955 of "Bronchopneumonia andArteriosolerotic Heart Disease with failure" in San Francisco, SanFrancisco, CA.
 His is listed as hotel manager of Hotel Dalt
 Birthplace, WA, parents unknown. All info was provided by AdalaideSolak (Adalaide Lolly Cox), his eldest daughter. He was removed toCompton, CA and buried near his first wife.

  Marriage cert list Franklins occupation as Soldier, born in IL,fathers name Williams Cox, mothers name Minnie Ashby both of IL andhis residence as Spokane, WA. and age 26.

e. Note:   carneval, assume he joined after his first marriage ended. He andDoris traveled with the carneval before their first child was born inDeshler NB in 1928, and before they got married in Spokane in 1930.
  Marriage certificate found by Dolores in her mothers things, showsthey were married by a Justic of the Peace on the 26th of Nov in 1930in Spokane. It list both Franklin and Doris residence as Missoula,MT Names appear as follows: Frank E. Cox and Eltheyln A. Duensett.More questions than answers provided by this document.
