She was born January 26, 1940 in Fort Worth, TX to Walter O. Ware and Eddie W. (Boyd) Ware. She graduated from high school at Northside High School in Ft. Worth and received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Texas Tech University. In 1959, she married Cliff Gibbs in Ft. Worth, TX. Mrs. Gibbs had a career in education and MHMR before becoming a nanny for her twin grandchildren and other children in Gunter. Fairry was very supportive of Cliff's career, which took them to live in Singapore, El Salvador, Brazil, and Mexico for a total of thirteen years. Her passions were studying the Bible and spending time with her grandkids. She also enjoyed dancing with Cliff at the Senior Citizen dances. She was an active member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church and Gunter Community Club. She is survived by husband, Cliff Gibbs, of Gunter, TX; sons Gregg Gibbs and wife Leticia, Guy Gibbs and wife Lori, and Grady Gibbs, all of Celina, TX, and son Carlton Gibbs and wife Kristin of The Colony, TX; grandchildren, Drew Gibbs and wife Roxie, Brandon Gibbs, Claire Gibbs, Gage Gibbs, Grace Gibbs, Emmeline Gibbs, Madison Gibbs and Rex Gibbs; great grandchildren, Reese and Skylar Gibbs. She is preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Gunter on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM, with a reception to follow at Grace Bible Fellowship Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Bible Fellowship Church, in memory of Fairry Gibbs.
