Note: Notes for HAROLD EDGAR EHLERS: Harold E. Ehlers (Unknown Newspaper) Harold E. Ehlers, 68, of 314 W. 4th St., Alton, IL, died at 1:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Hospital where he had been a patient since November 22. He retired as shift foreman of the forming department at Owens-Illinois, Inc. He belonged to the Golden Emblem Club of Owens-Illinois. He was born in Altamont, December 21, 1902. Surviving are his widow, Valera H., whom he married June 3, 1941 in St. Charles, MO, daughter Mrs. Ralph Dempster of Alton, a step-son, Thomas Marquis of Baton Rouge, LA. Three step-grandchildren, a grandchild, and a great-grandchild; two brothers, Clarence of St. Louis, and Henry of Sorento; and six sisters, Mrs. Elsie Brockman of Nokomis, IL, Mrs. Orra Reincke of Nokomis, IL, Etta Magers of Homer, IL, Mrs. Maude Smith of Xenia, IL, Mrs. Hulda Koss of Wood River, IL, and Mrs. Albert Smith of Altamont. Friends may call after 2 P.M. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home in Alton, where funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Friday, with the Rev.
