a. Note:   NEWMAN (CNS)- Geis Stutz, 48, died Monday (Oct 27, 1958) in Carle memorial Hospital, Urbana, Illinois, following and illnes of two years. Born Nov. 16, 1909 on a farm southeast of Newman, he was the son of William Leroy and Katherine Stitmesser Stutz. He was married June 30, 1938 at Tuscola to Dana Crossman. Mr. Stutz was a former presdent of the Douglas County Farm Bureau. he was elected as a director in 1952, was vice president in 1952 and served as president from 1953 auntil illness forced his retirement. Surviving are his wife; tw sons, harold Allen of hume and William george at home; his mother Mrs. Katherine Stutz of Broadlands; three sisters, Mrs Ed Eluhm of Pennsylvania, mrs Genevieve wright and Mrs. Alberta hanner, both of Danville, and four brothers, john of Chicago, Donald of Sidney, lloyd of Broadlands and Lowell of California. The body is at the Barr & Sons Funeral home in newman where friends will be received from 3 to 9 p.m. tuesday services will be a t 2:30 p. mp wednesday at eh Newman Methodist Church
