On 17 Nov. 1890 at St Clair Catholic Church in Altamont, Effingham Co., she married THEODORE M MAGERS.(96:2) He was born 18 Mar 1869 and was the son of GOTLIEB or GABRIEL PORTER MAGERS and JULIA ANN O'BRIEN. (29: ; 96:1) They had 6 children:(96:2) .1 MABEL E (MAGERS) BENNETT 1891-1966 .2 FRANCES ADELINE (MAGERS) BECCUE 1893-1931 .3 RAYMOND GABRIEL 1895-1958 .4 PHYLLIS MARTHA (MAGERS) TURNER 1898-1992 .5 QUINTA EMILY (MAGERS) HARRISON 1901-? .6 ELLA DORIS (MAGERS) GOSNEY 1903-? Theodore died 7 May 1957 and Clara died 10 Nov 1961, both at Murchison, Texas. They are buried there at the Red Hill Cemetery with their children Raymond, Phyllis, and Quinta.(96:1,2) Gabriel Porter Magers was born near the small village of Danville in Knox County, Ohio on 10 FEB 1824. He was the 4th child of WILLIAM RIDGELY MAGERS (MAJORS) and his first wife, JANE PORTER. Jane died in childbirth in 1826 bearing her 5th child. In 1845, at age 21, Gabriel went to Frostburg, Allegany County, Maryland to learn the shoemaking trade.
