a. Note:   By the time he was 7 he had moved twice fromTennessee to Texas by covered wagon. Herbert moved his family to Sentinel, OK in 1927, and remained there and farmed until 1941. Upon returning to Lancaster, he built a home on Cheshier Rd., just east of I-35 off of West Belt LineRd. During WWII he worked for Guiberson Rubber plant. He planted a garden every year and tended bees. His family attended the Cold Springs Church ofChrist.
