Note: not mentioned in brother Arthur J Forbes' obituary as a survivor from letter by Hugh Smiley to Donna Forbes, he was trying to get a birth
certificate when he died. (Detroit). He did serve some time in the Navy
and was on the USS Decatur in January 1924. letter dated 2-20-79
peer Bessie Jones, he never married, was in the Navy in War One. Passed
on in Detroit, Michigan about 1960.
