came from Wales to US to Rhode Island, then moved in covered wagon to
Kentucky with Family. Christian Minister in early 1800, about 1810 came
to Missouri, in covered wagon, along with the American Indians. Friends
of the Indians, traded with the Indians. Helped one another. Build a
homestead about 7 miles out from Cuba, Missouri, on a farm. He was a
farmer and a minister. Rev James Jones was a son of minister of Christian
Religion. In 1820 he married a Missouri girl, lived next to Rev George W
Forbes Farm.
