Note: *Obituary - Portsmouth Daily Times, Tuesday, October 5th, 1937 - Frank Brown - Funeral services for Frank Brown, 76, of Jackson, former Portsmouth resident, who died Sunday at his home of paralysis after an illness since June, will be held at the Emrick funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Mr. Brown was a farmer. He was born in McGoffin county, KY. While a resident of Portsmouth, Mr. Brown was a member of Bigelow M. E. church. He had been living in Jackson about five years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise Brown, and these children: Cleveland Brown of Ironton, Everett Brown of Blackfork, William Brown of New Howland, Mrs. Ed Carter of Chillicothe route 1, and Mrs. Helen Perkins...(last part of line messed up from flaw in microfilm). He also leaves these brothers and sissters: George Brown of Wheelersburg, Sanford and Alex Brown of Kentucky, Alving Brown of Stockdale, Mrs. Jane Hamilton of Fullerton, Mrs. Fan-(this line messed up from flaw in microfilm), Maude McNeely of Portsmouth, Mrs. Ida Brown of Tygart and Mrs. Kate Runyons of Ironton.
