Note:   -Obituary of Mary Jane Adkins Gilliam, Paper Unknown - Mrs. Mary Jane Gilliam, 93, died Wednesday morning in Urbana, Ohio, and the body is being returned to Morgan County for burial in the Fannin Cemetery under direction of Potter Funeral Home. Mrs. Gilliam was born in Elliot County in 1885 a daughter of Joe D. Adkins and Edith Ison Adkins. She was the widow of Marion Gilliam, deceased. -Obituary of Mary Jane Adkins Gilliam, Paper Unknown - Mrs. Mary Jane Gilliam, 92, of Urbana, Ohio died Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 4 a.m. in Ohio. She was born Sept. 2, 1886 at Isonville a daughter of the late Joe Adkins and Edith Ison Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors are five sons, Ople Gilliam of Urbana, Ohio, Stanley Gilliam of Crockett, Virgil Gilliam of Moon, Braskew Gilliam of Denver, Colorado and Dearl Gilliam of Springfield, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Jewell Wolfenbarger of Beaver, Ohio and Mrs. Arlene Hollon of Selma, North Carolina; one sister Alice Gilliam of Urbana, Ohio; 36 grandchildren, __ great grandchildren and __ great great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Crockett Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Smith and Rev. Elijah Smith officiating. Burial in the Fannin Cemetery at Route 3 West Liberty with Potter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
