a. Note:   *Buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Section 22 (single lot section), Lot No. E1/2 - 31, Division 'D'. No grave stone. *Obituary - Portsmouth Daily Times - Friday, November 1, 1940 - Mrs. Lizzie Adkins - Mrs. Lizzie Adkins, 78, was found dead in bed Thursday at the home of a son, Robert Adkins. She was born April 8, 1862. Beside the son at whose home she died, she leaves two other sons, John Holmes of Portsmouth and Albert Adkins of Blake Hollow. Also surviving are a brother, West Holmes of Jackson county, and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Brown of Jackson county and Mrs. Lucretia Prater of Scioto county. Funeral services will be held at 10a.m. Saturday at the Erwin funeral home, with Rev. John Kemper officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery, Portsmouth. The body is at the funeral home.
