Note:   -Obituary of Vernon Duncan (paper unknown) - Vernon Duncan - Vernon Duncan, 53, of Lexington, formerly of Raceland was dead on arrival at 12:50 p.m. Saturday at Lawrence County General Hospital in Ironton. Mr. Duncan was born May 20, 1920, in Oldtown, a son of Everett and Ruby Virgin Duncan of Raceland. He retired from teh Chessie System, in 1968, was a veteran of World War II, and was educated in the Greenup County school system. He was a member of the Christain Church of Raceland and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Russell. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Mrs. Jeanie Litteral Duncan; a son, Ronnie Duncan of Indianola, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Janice Rice of Raceland and Mrs. Nancy Metz of Flatwoods; and five grandchildren. The body is at the Evans Funeral Home in Raceland where friends may cal after 6 p.m. today.
