Notes
a. Note:   ey. Place of Birth Wick(?) Age at death 39, year of death 1865. Thus born in about 1825.Ellen Willcocks born in 1887, making him nominally 63 at her birth for a grandfather. Certainly possible. No Tully born in SA to match from records I can get to, and none in Vic. Elizabeth Tully born 1853, so age 28 when she was born. He was a schoolmaster. But now a note from Sieggy that William Tully was a shoemaker - Sieggy to provide further information. Now great deatils from Peter Willcocks website, and it is that which has been included. Confirmed that he was a Bootmaker and Teacher. The info below is not correct I beleive, the info in the family tree is right. ************ Also a suggestion that Ann's husband name was William? Also William Tully elder may have had a child called Edith, died 21 6 1899, father william tully, mother Edith Agnes PRIOR. They had 4 children edith b 3 10 1898 alice may b 8 5 1900 george james b 27 12 1902 ellen anastasia b 6 5 1905 **************** THis seems OK. Now, it appears that the Tully/Tobutt's came to Australia between 1838 and 1841 - Child Ann was born in Reigate, and child Mary in Adelaide.. This is confirmed by the passenger list - William Tully and Harriott Tobutt, with Stephen and Ann arrived on 1 dec 1838 on the ship Lloyds, from London departing 1 August 1838. They are known as Pioneer Family to South Australia. William Tully was a schoolmaster
Note:   Originally thought to be possibly William Charles Tully, Father was Michael, Mother Ann Toom
